The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient service and repairs of any machines covered under the Kinzler Construction service contracts. Other duties include:
- Serve existing accounts by maintaining rapport with contract customers; examine machine issues; identifying solutions; plan travel schedule for service calls.
- Effectively troubleshoot, repair and service equipment program machines in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
- Shipping and receiving of equipment. Create Bills of Lading and coordinate logistics with transportation companies of equipment that is shipped from and received to our facility.
- Create work orders in our computer system and document maintenance performed on all equipment that is serviced.
- Travel up to one week/month to current customer stores to provide preventative maintenance on equipment and repairs when needed. Territory would cover 5 state area.
Required skills, experience and talents:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Must have experience with basic electronic circuits and a good mechanical background in servicing equipment.
- Must be able to travel and have a clean driving record.
